The mountains are a lifestyle and so are our saunas.
We custom build traditional outdoor saunas with advanced design, superior construction, and a luxury, mountain modern aesthetic.
What Makes Värma Different?
Our clients value the slow rhythms of the forest, the awe-inspiring resilience of the mountains, and built environments that act as a sanctuary for blending inner experience with the outer world.
A Värma Sauna Co. sauna is specifically built for mountain living, with an emphasis on premium craftsmanship, structural durability, reliable performance, and thoughtful integration into the natural environment.
Materials Matter
Our saunas are constructed using Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) sourced from the Western U.S.
CLT consists of milled lumber that is layered and bonded at 90º angles, creating a highly efficient insulating material that resists deformation from extreme changes in temperature and humidity.
As a building material, CLT provides exceptional structural integrity, allowing us to craft saunas specifically designed to withstand the unique environmental elements and weather conditions of mountain living.
CLT is also a sustainable and renewable building material that is changing the profile of modern building and construction.
Our process is as carefully crafted as our product.
We work directly with residential and commercial clients and partner with architects, builders, agents, and property managers to ensure a seamless experience from first concept through final installation.
